Are you an IT Professional? (2)

For Australian points-tested skill migration, you must do a Skills Assessment. Once you have identified the correct ANZSCO occupation, you must then apply to have your education and work experience assessed against this ANZSCO occupation. The Australian Computer Society (ACS) is the Assessing Authority for most ICT occupations. Assessment is based on mainly two things: 1) Qualification, and 2) Work Experience. For example, depending on whether your qualification is related to your occupation, the amount of work experience required to have a successful skills assessment will differ. If you have a Bachelor degree majoring in ICT, and your work experience is closely related to your nominated occupation, then you only need to have 2 years of work experience. On the other end of the scale, you will need 8 years of working experience, plus have approved Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) if you do not have relevant qualification at all.

At Tanson Migration, we can assist you with your skills assessment process including identifying the most appropriate ANZSCO occupation, assist you in preparing the necessary documentation, and submitting your assessment application.
