State Nomination for 188 & 132 visa re-open for Victoria

On 8th September, 2020, the State of Victoria has opened their visa nomination program for business and investor visas (subclass 188 and 132). The Victorian government has received a limited number of interim allocation of visa nomination places for these visas up until the Federal Budget on 6th October, 2020. There is no substantial changes to the nomination criteria, except an additional requirement that all business and investment activity must contribute to Victoria’s economic recovery or health response. There is a new form for this new criterion. The announcement also specified that application will close at 5pm AEST, 21st September, 2020.
